Welcome to our
website!
We want you to browse this site and learn as much as possible
about MCCS Preschool through High School. We know that you may seek more
information than what is available here and invite you to visit our campus,
meet with administration, tour our school, and observe the faculty and staff
in action. That is why we are here, to partner with you in the education of
your children, and in each student’s spiritual growth. We do this through a
Biblical worldview, overseeing and guiding each student under the direction
of the Holy Spirit. Together we will prepare your children, as our students,
toward fulfilling the plan God has for their life.
The Preschool program at MCCS includes a half-day program with an afterschool option for two to four year olds. Our program is designed to create self-motivated, responsible learners. Through a wonderful staff we strive to excite the imagination, enhance the social, intellectual and physical development, and encourage each child to grow in God’s grace through an integrated curriculum.
In elementary grades K-5, MCCS offers students many learning
experiences in a traditional academic classroom setting. Each day begins
with prayer and all students attend chapel each week on Friday mornings. All
subjects and activities are biblically integrated with the distinct purpose
of imparting a Christian worldview. We also seek to encourage each student’s
personal relationship with Jesus Christ, guiding them in forming Christ-like
attitudes and a Godly value system. A strong sense of citizenship and
awareness of missions complete the values we desire to instill in our
students.
The middle school program of MCCS combines academic growth that prepares students for high school with a Christian viewpoint to teach character. This is a period of explosive mental and physical growth for students and it can be a challenging, difficult, and sometimes trying time for students and their parents. Boundaries are tested, authority is challenged and students begin to try to discover who they are and what they will become. That is why we are here, to partner with you in the education of your children and provide assistance in their spiritual growth. We do this through a Biblical worldview and through guiding each student under the direction of the Holy Spirit. Together we will prepare your children, as our students on the path to fulfill the plan God has for their life.
As students enter the high school program at MCCS, we view them
as young men and women who are choosing to submit themselves to God, their
parents, a local church, and lastly to Millers Creek Christian School.
Even though our first priority is to
serve as a Christ-centered school, we are also a college preparatory high
school. Our goal is to have students accepted into the college of their
choice and to be successful at that institution. We have a wonderful
teaching staff committed to Christ and to excellence in the classroom.
The mission of
Millers Creek Christian School is to provide a balanced education that is
Christ-centered and presents to students a Christian world-view.
Millers Creek Christian School commits itself to a Christ-centered
education, which leads to; a personal belief in God’s word, a personal
relationship with Jesus Christ, a passion for intellectual and cultural
development, the building of a strong vibrant family, and a love for our
Nation.
